Engineering a bright future: new recruit needed
2012
represented a busy year for Machinery World’s engineering department and
additions including new tools, vehicles and in-house testing equipment meant
that the team was able to perform a higher volume of more intricate, detailed services
and repairs at a much faster pace. The outcome was a streamlined and efficient
department that was in a position to offer its services at a very competitive
rate.
However,
as the team settles into 2013, and not being one to rest on its laurels, the
department is keen to build upon the successes of last year and continue to provide
exceptional levels of service to clients both in the UK and abroad. As a result,
and in order to achieve its goal, Machinery World’s engineering department is now
seeking to hire an experienced engineer to join the team.
Sean
Dughan, Engineering Manager of Machinery World, commented: “We’ve got the
skills and we’ve got the equipment, now we just need to expand the team so we
can build our client list and offer a quicker response to breakdowns and reduce
service waiting times even further; all without disturbing our current levels
of service. It’s a great opportunity for someone to come in and be given everything
they need to reach their full potential, while enjoying what they do.”
Typical
work activities for the role include responding to customer call-outs,
evaluating and resolving problems, assisting with the installation and
commissioning of equipment, offering customer training, developing and
maintaining relationships, offering feedback on and providing input to future
product developments, monitoring product performance, international travel and
much more.
If
you would like a full job description, a confidential chat to discuss the role
further or, would like to book a service, repair or installation, please don’t
hesitate to contact Sean Dughan on 07970 659 064 or sean@machineryworld.co.uk
